A Safe Beach
A Safe Beach uses joy as an act of resistance.
It became a creative outlet in 2020 that became a movement to inspire others to visit these sacred spaces. My process includes researching historic spaces, sketching, and bringing the sketch into Procreate and finishing the poster in Photoshop.
The color system is grounded in muted tones pulled from sky and shoreline hues–complimenting the artwork.
